Your member information

Member notice version: 12 September 2026. Read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Account and profile review

We store your name, email, country, a secure password hash, policy acceptance records, email-verification state and profile-review status to operate your account. Optional profile information helps authorized admins review your application. Your profile is not public in this phase. You can choose a publishing name and set preferences for future public display.

Your optional connection to T1D is stored only if you explicitly consent. You can leave it out or remove it in your profile. Never provide glucose readings, treatment details, patient records, IDs or medical files.

Private files

Optional CVs and supporting PDFs or images can be downloaded only by you and authorized reviewers. They expire after 90 days, and become inaccessible immediately if the account is declined, blocked or suspended. Expired files are deleted by retention cleanup. Do not upload anything you do not have permission to share.

Emails and consent

Account verification, password resets and account-status messages are transactional, not marketing consent. Member newsletter preference is separate and optional. In this phase it is recorded for future integration, and does not subscribe you automatically or change any existing public newsletter subscription. Automated member email delivery is not enabled yet.

Retention and your choices

Active account and profile information is retained while your account operates. You can edit optional information and remove private files. For deletion or access requests, contact admin@glucosegossiphub.com. Restricted accounts retain only the account identifier and necessary policy, restriction and audit metadata to prevent abuse; optional profile details and password access are removed. Internal moderation notes are not public.

Volunteer applications, resource submissions and Listening Lab participation remain separate existing workflows. Creating a member account neither imports those records nor publishes them.

Security check

Signup uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. Authentication secrets remain server-side. Verification and reset tokens are single-use and expire automatically.
